Τhe main challenge of this activity is to identify the most important local historical events, tradition(s), myths, legends, and personalities and to introduce them to the TCN(s) with the use of pictures.
The mentor needs:

Implementation Steps
During the first step, the mentor will select important local historical events, tradition(s), myths, legends and personalities, mainly based on the area of residence of the TCN(s), and identify good quality pictures of them. The mentor also needs to ensure that he/she has important information on them and, if not, he/she should be able to research for relevant information. Last but not least, he/she needs to provide the TCN(s) with a map showing relevant locations and a calendar indicating when relevant events took place and when anniversaries of these events are celebrated.
During the presentation, the local historical events, tradition(s), myths, legends and personalities will be presented through good quality pictures. At the same time, important information about what the pictures represent will be presented (history, narratives, value, etc.). At the end of the presentation, the mentor will provide the TCN(s) with a map showing relevant locations and a calendar indicating when relevant events took place and when anniversaries of these events are celebrated.
At the end of the presentation, the mentor will ask from the TCN(s) to reflect on the pictures they have seen and to express their thoughts and feelings. Also, he/she will invite the TCN(s) to compare these local historical events, tradition(s), myths, legends and personalities with relative historical or traditional events, narratives, or personalities of their country of origin, if any, as well as to name them and express their thoughts and feelings when recalling them.
After that, the mentor will sign the action plan(s) of the TCN(s).
